1. The most prominent feature of PU（Polyurethane）rigid foam is that its thermal insulation performance is better than natural thermal insulation materials (such as rock wool, etc.) and other synthetic thermal insulation materials (such as expanded polystyrene, etc.), and it has become an important type of synthetic resin thermal insulation material. In polyurethane products, the amount of rigid polyurethane foam is second only to flexible polyurethane foam.
2. Low-density polyurethane rigid foam is mainly used for heat preservation. The density of most rigid polyurethane foam is 28-50kg/m3. Mainly used for thermal insulation, such as the filling material of the thermal insulation layer of refrigerators and freezers, the thermal insulation of hot water, steam, heating crude oil and chemical transportation pipelines, the thermal insulation of building roofs and walls, the thermal insulation of cold storage, refrigerated vehicles, etc.
3. High-density polyurethane rigid foam and glass fiber reinforced rigid foam have high strength and can be used to make wood-like products. It is characterized by its lower density than wood and a simpler manufacturing process. It can be molded to manufacture all kinds of imitation carved wood products, structural plates, vehicle and ship parts, imitation wood furniture, etc.
